I did a few tests with trafficinfo to observe data traffic with Pure news widget with the following configuration:
- 5 feeds retrieved
- 50 feed elements displayed
- images enabled (it can use a datas if images are big)
Here is a sample of data traffic with a specific configuration :
- without ofline cache : 680kb
- with offline cache AND google mobilizer (50 new feeds elements to cache): 1.7mb
- with offline cache AND WITHOUT google mobilizer (50 new feeds elements to cache): 8mb
